Installation is simple: connect the second-generation Commander module to your Tesla harness, install the S3XY app on your smartphone, and select the Knob functions you want from a library of more than 130 shortcuts. Whether used alone or alongside S3XY Buttons, the Knob integrates perfectly, allowing both devices to work in harmony for maximum control.

- Not compatible with Model S/X or pre-2021 Model 3
Installation Options (DIY Friendly)
- Rear Connection Point (Standard) – Quick, straightforward install at the rear of the central console. Note: Not compatible with Model Y LFP battery or if other accessories are connected here.
- Front Connection Point (Advanced) – Ideal for setups with accessories on the rear connector. Installed in the front right footwell under the glovebox; requires AMD infotainment. This is a more advanced option due to limited accessibility.
